SHENSHOU CREATURE

The extraordinary mythical creatures from *Shan Hai Jing* serve as the creative inspiration, symbolizing wealth, happiness, majesty, courage, peace, and joy. Designer Feng Chen Wang collects and reimagines these fantastical beings, first collaborating with Jingdezhen artisans to craft handcrafted ceramic sculptures of the "Feng-style Mythical Beasts." These sculptures are then reconstructed through 3D scanning and printing, before being meticulously hand-paintInspired by the AW25 collection, the ShenShou Creature was born from a collaboration with the master artisans of Jingdezhen, China's ceramic capital. The mythical beasts feature a rich and diverse color palette, with gradient hues that echo the shifting light of mountains over time—both inclusive and powerful, as if carrying the legends and myths of *Shan Hai Jing*. Each color embodies a unique significance: **Chinese red** represents passionate vitality and Eastern romance; **Clear Mountain Blue** symbolizes new beginnings and a pure heart; **Dusky Mountain Purple** exudes mystery and nobility; **Profound Black** (Xuantian Ink) signifies minimalism and inclusivity, reflecting the essence of the universe; **Peach Blossom Pink** captures the youthful vibrance of spring’s first bloom; and **Celadon Gradient** embodies poetic elegance, transitioning from the verdant hues of Yue Kiln’s Thousand Peaks Green to the jade-like glaze of Jingdezhen porcelain—tracing a journey from chaos to clarity in search of true essence.
