Barbour x Feng Chen Wang: A Mythic Collaboration
Barbour and Feng Chen Wang collaborate for the first time, launching a capsule collection in January 2026 based on iconic Barbour silhouettes, layers and accessories.
The central design piece of the collection – a reimagined Barbour Bedale jacket – is inspired by the mythical ‘Long Ma (Dragon-Horse)’, blending Barbour’s equestrian heritage with Feng Chen Wang’s conceptual deconstruction and storytelling rooted in Chinese culture.
The collection reflects a shared belief in tradition, cultural appreciation, and authenticity, bridging British countryside legacy with modern global identity.
The partnership reimagines Barbour’s iconic silhouettes including outerwear, layers and accessories, through the lens of ancient folklore and Feng’s emotionally charged design language.
The collection comprises a focused colour palette for Chinese New Year, reflecting good fortune and growth, marking a meeting point between British countryside tradition and Eastern mysticism, anchored in both brands' mutual appreciation for authenticity, cultural storytelling, and timeless craftsmanship.
"This collaboration with Feng Chen Wang represents a powerful meeting of East and West, bringing together Barbour’s rich British heritage with Feng’s bold and contemporary Chinese design vision. Partnering with a designer who shares both global recognition and a strong local connection allows us to create something truly authentic and relevant for our Chinese audience. This is more than a fashion collaboration - it’s a celebration of cultural dialogue and creative exchange." - Neil Parker, Managing Director of Global Distributors at Barbour
